Duration: 2 Scientific hours
Dental records are important documents which record a wealth of detail about patients. They include images such as radiographs and items such as dental models. Alex will discuss these from a forensic point of view, explaining how they are used in forensic identification. He will cover the rules around the creation and retention of dental records, and explain why it is important to release them for forensic purposes. He will also explain how the law ensures that this is not a breach of patient confidentiality.
