Clinic Day is fast approaching. Mark the Friday 26th of November in your calendar for a fascinating look at Digital Dentistry – what it offers and how it can change your practice.

While we’re talking about CPD, I invite you to apply for one of two BOQ Specialist Bursaries for Dental Excellence. There are two bursaries, each worth $5,500, which can be used towards ADAQ CPD courses.

Important changes have been made to the Medicines and Poisons Act, which introduce new classes of drugs including restricted medicines, high-risk medicines, diversion risk medicines and monitored medicines. Remember that using QScript will be mandatory when you prescribe all schedule 8 and some schedule 4 drugs.

Elections for ADAQ Council are now open for voting in these divisions until 5pm on 5th November. Please, do vote. ADAQ Councillors provide a voice on the issues and opportunities that are important to you and your division. You can learn about the candidates, and how to vote, on the ADAQ website.

The ADAQ and ADAQUE Annual General Meetings will be held on Thursday 25 November. So if you are attending Clinic Day the following day, I encourage you to come to the AGM and make your voice heard. Attendance is in person only.

Finally, DBA Registration is now open, and you MUST renew by 30 November this year. Look out for an email from Ahpra providing access to on-line renewal to make it quick and easy.
